馃審馃審馃審 The United Nations Scientific Report (IPCC) has warned very recently that the world is not ready for the effects of impending climate change. Among other things, the findings in the report speak of the need to prepare and produce adaptation plans urgently. Recently I was privileged to work in collaboration with Gilad Ronnen, PhD 讙诇注讚 专讜谞谉 on writing a strategic plan for sustainability and the environment in the Bnei Shimon Regional Council ( https://bns.org.il ). Bnei Shimon understood that such a strategic plan is needed and as part of the process we held a public participation event for the residents of the communities last night to learn about the residents, their needs, and their desire to bring about change in the communities and contribute their knowledge and experience.
